Where to stay on Isle of Mull, Scotland?

We would like to stay 2 nights and would love a few suggestions. Would like to stay under 100 pounds ($200) per room, per night. We do not need luxurious accomodations, but we do appreciate a good view!

We will have a car, and plan to explore Mull the first day we arrive. The second day, we plan to ferry to Iona and Staffa. The third day we will depart.

I was considering Tobermory or Fionnphort. I contacted Staffa House in Fionnphort but they do not have any available rooms.

Thank you!

I like Tobermory and enjoyed staying at the Tobermory Hotel.

As janisj probably posted on the other thread, check out Seaview B&B in Fionnphort. I'm staying there at the end of this month on her recommendation.

Jenna - A month ago we stayed just 2 minutes out of Tobermory in our motorhome and loved being there.
When we drove off the ferry at Craignure we went into the Visitors Centre across the road to find out about the boat trips to Staffa etc.
The first thing they asked was 'Where are you staying?'
When we said Tobermory they immediately gave us brochures for sailings from Ulva.
It's much closer than driving to Fionnphort. Give yourselves PLENTY of time to get to the dock!
If the weather is calm and sunny the boat captain heads for the Treshnish Isles instead of Iona.
That's a good place to get right up to Puffins and we were glad they took us there.

We ate at Cafe Fish in Tobermory and it was delicious. Their Co-op/Supermarket was very good as well. Another good lunch was had at a pub near the brewery - sorry can't remember the name.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. We will be staying at Seaview. Since we are on Mull for 2 nights, we will be sure to visit Tobermory and the suggested places to eat!

Another good place to eat is the Keel Row which is essentially next door to your B&B,

- and on Iona there is a small tea shop w/ sandwiches and home baking associated w/ the Abbey and another tea shop w/ outdoor seating at the Heritage Centre.

You can also ask the B&B to fix you a picnic lunch to take on your driving tour.

Update: The Seaview is great, Jane and John are very sweet. The Lunga room has a view of the bay, though you have to crane your head around a little. They are a very green B&B, with nice bathrooms. They have cable in the rooms (rather than the normal 4 channels) and duvets with no sheets (the duvet stuffing can be taken out to make a sheet of the cover, which I do as I like sheets). The beds are standard hardness for Scotland, which is more like a futon. It is literally steps from the ferry.

Keel Row was great for lunches, but there dinners were nothing exciting, IMHO. I recommend driving the 6 miles back to Bunessan - I was greatly impressed with the food at the Reef Restaurant!
