I am looking for sugestions for hotels at Lake Como. We will be in northern Italy in the end of september.

Corinne, Bellagio is easily the jewel in the crown of Lago Como. I would look at the Hotel Belvedere at this site: www.bellagiolakecomo.com . If you want to stay on the west shore then the Grand Hotel Tremezzo is a good option.

Just returned from Lake Como. Another vote for the Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Tremezzo which is across the lake from Bellagio. This part of the lake is the most beautiful imo. The hotel is wonderful. A great splurge is to stay in a lake view room.

Here's another vote for the Belvedere Hotel in Bellagio. Ask for a room on the 3rd floor or higher for the best lake view. The vast majority of rooms offer a lake view. <BR>Check out its website: www.belverderbellagio.com <BR>Another plus: It has a well-training, friendly and most helpful staff.
