Where to go for warmer climate?

I have work in london early january and my wife will be coming along. We have heard so much about the eurostat so we will be taking it to Paris and staying there for a week. We then would like to go somewhere warmer for another week. Any suggestions>

How about sunny Canary Islands? OK, it's not Europe, but it is an island province of Spain, so close enough.

Will you also be taking eurostar to your 2nd destination? It would be helpful if you told us what your options are if you are.

I looked at the eurostar website- I will assume you would fly somewhere warmer. If you are looking to stay in Europe, what about Sicily? It will be between 50-58 degrees fahrenheit usually.

We were in Sicily three years ago early january and it was in low 40s and high 30s degrees fahrenheit. I wouldn't call Sicily the best warmer destination
