Where should I visit in Europe?

I am planning a trip to Europe in August of this year, I am 19 and this will be my first trip alone. I am curious where people who have been to Europe suggest I visit. Any opinions would be helpful.
Thank you

I've taken a dart and thrown it at my map. It came up with London, Dublin and Paris.

Thank you.

I am planning to visit for about two weeks and would like to visit a few different places while I am there.

A few places are fine but don't go crazy and try to see too much as you'll spend most of your time traveling from place to place.

Prague
Amsterday
Paris

What interests you? Museums? Architecture? Nightlife? Beaches?

How much do you have to spend? In hotels, hostels, couch surfing?

Do you speak a language other than English?
We need more information before we can make a suggestion. Europe is big, and very diverse. Do some research of your own too, and narrow it down a bit.

Europe is an entire continent. Get a bunch of guidebooks and maps and start reading and narrowing down your choices. We have no idea whether you'd prefer Albania or Spain or the Ile d'Oléron or Scotland. There are dozens and dozens of choices. What are you interests and priorities? Two weeks is a tiny amount of time for a vast amount of territory. Hit the guidebooks and come up with a tentative plan, and then we can tell you what's realistic.

That is a very big question, hard to answer. Some people love England, others love Spain, Italy, Greece, any one of a dozen countries.

Can you think of anything that you have studied or read that might draw you to a particular country. Maybe a movie that you have seen.

I would suggest Italy - but that is only my opinion.

Italy is pretty hot in August so I would take that into consideration if you prefer cooler temperatures.

Is there someplace you've always wanted to visit?

I would shift it slightly from Adrienne's suggestion: Prague Berlin Amsterdam

Why do you want to go to Europe? What draws you there?

I would have LOVED to go when I was 19, and I would have made a beeline to Paris and London. Oh, and Florence.
