Where is my London Itinerary?

Early this evening I posted my proposed London itinerary. Several people responded with some good advice.

Later this evening I wanted to check if there were any more responses and could not get into the forum.

Now my post is gone. Anybody know if there was a problem on the forum?
I've had this happen on Fodor's on many occasions. Normally if I hit the reload button about 10 times it will pop back up.

It has to do with their attempts to track. Using that dirtybit thing.
Ah yes, the dreaded “dirty-bit thang,” a.k.a. the “befouling gimlet…” an ancient and dreaded torture device used by the Turks, originally, as a method of extracting precious viscous fluids from the soles of fishermen’s deck shoes for use as a nefarious aphrodisiac when breeding cows with goats. I pray I never hear of it again…

No, I am talking about something I see in the URL line when attempting to post, and sometimes being unable to do so.

I think it has to do with using an alias, like "zzz". Or changing ISP's, as I do sometimes from one time in the day to another.

They used to use cookies to track what name you last posted under. Ostensibly it was designed to help you "auto-complete" your name and e-mail address on any subsequent post.

It was abandoned. Perhaps it was intended as a prelude to registration.
