Where in the world.....?

Can I spend two and a half weeks for a honeymoon in late July/August, 2007?

We are looking for some relaxation time and some time to see places. We have been to Belgium and the UK and Spain and Rome/Northern Italy. Any other places that would be good in late July and early August would be fab...!

It is very overwhelming planning so late.. (just blame it on a sudden need to get married

Many thanks to all the experts here.. )

Uh, you're going to have to give us some more hints. There are several thousand tourist destinations besides the few you list in the world. What do you like? Do you want to sit on a beach? Do you want to go to the opera? Are you rich? Poor? Do you like castles? Trains? Doll museums? Boxing matches? "Places" isn't much to go on. The scuzziest part of the Paris suburbs is a "place".

Alps. St. Petersburg or Scandinavia. Quebec or maritime Canada. Alaska. Coeur d'Alene. Patagonia. New Zealand.

Hope your "sudden need" transforms into an equally captivating motivation to stay married in lifelong happiness...

Best wishes,

It's arguably the best time to see game in the Kruger Park area (the park itself and neighboring reserves) in South Africa, also low season since it's winter there. With the Dollar/Rand exchange rate still reasonably decent, it can be fairly affordable, provided you limit yourselves to just a few nights in high-end safari resorts (some of which are unbelievably luxurious.)
