Sorry for the horrific punctuation and spelling! Still too early in the morning for me, I should have waited until later to post

i dropped out of the French Library before they merged. I found them too expensive. Do you go to the MFA French film festival?

Reno, NV. Born in Salem, Oregon and when I was 10 moved to Marin County in the SF Bay area, and 28 years ago moved to Reno. Went to college in Columbia, MO and have been in about half the states. Have been to Mexico, England, France, Switzerland, and Italy...ah so little time and so many wonderful places. Looking forward to going back to London next year with my brother and looking at some day trips from there since it will be my third trip to London. Boy, some of you have REALLY been able to see the world. How lucy is that?

My husband and I were, like, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, (L.A.) like, all our lives. And, like, we still live here, like, all the time. And, like, I don't think we'll ever leave Southern California. It's, like, waaaay expensive, but, like, we'll just have to deal.
I'm outy.

Dear Cigalechanta:
I actually missed most of the MFA French film festival last summer because I was actually in France at the time. Tant pis! I hope that the MFA arranges another French film festival this year because they offer some interesting releases that one might not otherwise get to see. Thanks for welcoming people to the page; I've enjoyed the various epistles and sharing of advice and experiences.

janeg, I'm in Cambridge, Ma. between MIT and Harvard U. but I miss my old apartment downtown Boston on Newbury St.
I was in a rent controlled apartment and when decontrol came in, we could not afford anything in the neighborhood so this was the closest to my home of many years.

Came to America from a beautiful Slovenia at age 18 and have lived, primarily, ever since in a small town NE of Seattle. Have lived in NZ with travels throughout Europe, much of US (incl. HI),Canada, Mexico, Fiji...Back to Slovenia each year... Would love to retire to a sunny and warm San Diego area (Fallbrook preferably, since I'm a country girl at heart)), but it's cost prohibitive...Will probably stay put in Seattle area.
