Italy for sure in October - remainder will probably be domestic: college visits and skiing.

Maybe Barcelona or Athens in late April, to draw a breath.

The Okanagan Valley in BC in August, primarily Oliver/Osoyoos, for a son's baseball camp.

San Francisco in August for a family wedding.

Amsterdam, Rome and Orvieto in October with my husband - our first trip alone together in over 20 years!

My business travel plans right now include exciting places like Northern Virginia, Phoenix, Houston and Dallas.

With all the miles I earn I am thinking of more interesting places like...

Montreal, Amsterdam, Prague and Lisbon.

I have a deposit down on the Transiberian Express from Vladivostok to Moscow, but probably will move it to another time because I am currently dithering with two possible home exchanges. One family is from Compiegne in France, but, after agreeing to the swap, they sort of dropped off the map. I don't really feel that is what I call a secure deal. The other family is from Vienna, Austria. I would actually prefer to go to Vienna because the last time I went there it was 35 years ago. If I get the Vienna swap, I will also go to Budapest. I am 1/4 Hungarian but don't know much about that branch of the family.

The Transiberian trip is with elderhostel. It is pricey and house swaps are just so cheap. I need to make a decision soon and free up a place on the Transiberian trip if I am going to cancel because there is a huge waiting list for that one. If I cancel, I simply will go some year when I don't get a house swap.

*April - Munich (Germany). Perhaps also Salzburgo
*July - USA tour (NY, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Utah Parks...) or Peru or Brazil. Not defined yet, but USA is the winner by now.
*Along the Summer - Galicia, Spain.
I'd like to do another short trip in October-early November.

Hi, ncygirl - great thread idea.

We're off to Madrid for a long weekend in Feb [hope to beat the cornwall winter blues] - that's just me and DH;

In July, we're splurging on 2 weeks in south Africa with the kids [19 & 16] - what lengths to go to to keep them coming on hols with us!

We spent the first 2 days of 2007 in Amsterdam.

Las Vegas/Grand Canyon - mid June

Seattle - June/July

Paris - a week in October

Ideally, a week in Sicily and a week in Rome over the holidays. Realistically, just a week in Rome.
