When does Aegean Air release their summer schedule?

Good afternoon!

Bikerscott and I loved Greece so much that we have booked on a two week sailing trip with Seascapes for the last two weeks of Aug 2012: http://seascape-sail.com/home/

We have booked our flight Kos on easyjet (super cheap YAY) and I need to book a flight home from Samos to London. I see that Aegean flies Samos - Athens - London so thats my preference rather than using 2 different airlines. They do have a few flights for next Aug/Sept but they are quite expensive and I think I remember that Aegean releases seat sales and their summer schedule early in the year....is that correct? When is that usually (I just want to keep my eye out to jump on some cheap flights hahaha)

Also, any thoughts on a hotel on Samos for 1 Sat night with a pool for around €150?

Thanks so much!!

The discount fares are released a couple of months before the travel dates specified. If you sign up for the Aegean Airlines email newsletter you'll be notified when their saver fares for August are released, but be prepared to buy them as soon as you see them. They sell out quickly. And it may be that the saver fares won't be as convenient as you'd like. It depends on which flights are included. It may require that you spend a night in Athens to continue on to London.

The risk in waiting is that they don't offer the saver fares for your travel dates, meaning that the flights you need could be fully booked before you will have had a chance to purchase "regular" fare seats.

Don't know if this is any help to you but we stayed in the
Hotel Samos in Samos town two years ago. We needed easy
access to the ferry and the hotel is on the promenade
overlooking the harbour.

Nice, clean 3* with a splash pool on a rooftop garden area.
Great location - nice town to wander in with lots of restos.
And a terrific little gem of a museum that is well worth
visiting.

Can't recall what we paid but I'm pretty sure it would have
been close to your budget.

IMO, the town to stay in is Pythagoria but it is very popular
esp. with your fellow Brits. The airport is there so it is
very convenient.
