What would you add to this itinerary?

Hey all,
Checking on expanding a European trip that will already take me through Italy, France, England, Wales, Belgium and Ireland. If you were me, would you add Greece, Scotland or a mini cruise from Berlin to Prague?

Thanks!

Greece, because it is the most different from the others you mention. And you can use some time laying around on a beautiful beach after all that traveling!

I've heard that it can be awfully confusing to get around, is it worth the added stress of another laguage to understand? I'd love to see the sights and eat the food, but...

The Elbe River cruise is quite relaxing and covers several interesting cities, most of all (in my opinion) Dresden. So, if you have the time, you might enjoy the cruise.

Greece really calls for trip all by itself. While Athens is interesting, there are so many islands each with its own character, not to mention other places on the main land like Delphi, Kalambaka, etc.

You don't say what time of year you are going, but absent that, I would add Amsterdam.

How much time will you be spending on this vacation? How much more time will you add for additional places?

Depends on how much time you have, how much more you want to spend and the time of year, but I think Scotland would fit in nicely.

Sorry, a continuation of my older post on my 6-7 weeks from March-May 2007. With the adjustments you all suggested in taking day trips rather than staying in some of the smaller places, I'm finding I have time to add one more place to go. That and I decided to stay several extra days.

Thanks!

Hi ceb,

Considering the rest of your itinerary that yo have posted on this thread, I suggest Scotland.

From a logistical point of view, only Scotland makes sense.

Thanks ira and SAnParis,
I'm kind of feeling this way, too. However, I'm not opposed to re-arranging my current plans to accomodate the other options. The only thing I'm sort of settled on is the starting and ending in London because of the price of the ticket, but I am checking with a travel agent to see if she doesn't have any suggestions or connections to get a better deal on an open-jaw ticket.
