I find all the various subway lines difficult. In Tokyo there must be 20 different lines. I say build one line and have it go everywhere. Sure it might take a bit longer but then all of you travel slowly types would be happy.

Converting quickly from our antiquated American measurement system to metric when I want to buy things in Europe. I have a few basic conversions down (I know I want 500 grams of steack hâché for a recipe, for example), but on the spur of the moment I freeze. And it's not a French/Italian/German thing - it's my impoverished math skills. You'd think I'd be good at this as I cook a LOT, but I'm not.

My aunt Fanny would have said you were crazy dulciusexasperis as would Fanny Brice.
Shar, Italians are the worse for queuing. They just walk in front of you, cut you off etc.
My husband is the best on trains and when he isn't with me I get worried I will end up in another country.

Ordering a pepperoni pizza and getting one with sliced peppers rather than sliced sausages.
(I have not done this, as I dislike both versions of pepperoni, but it has happened to friends with whom I was traveling.)
