Dry cleaner plastic bags are thin, light, and damp-proof. They let you pack partly dry sink laundry to finish drying at the next stop.

What size luggage??

Right now I have a 28" suitcase. Is that too much? Keep in mind I'm a 19 year old girl so I'll be bringing quite a bit of clothes/shoes/beauty products.

My 22 year old daughter packed a 28" suitcase for a trip to Europe a few years ago. I was the beast of burden getting it to the airline check-in counter. It weighed 49.5 pounds, just under the 50 pound limit. She doesn't use it anymore. The handle broke and she says it was too heavy. Now she uses a 21" roller.
