What's the best way to get from Paris to Venice?

I'm thinking of putting together a week in Paris and a few days in Venice at the end of March, beginning of April. What are my options for getting from Paris to Venice? I have checked Ryanair, and, while they service both cities, they do not fly from Paris to Venice. What about train, or other airlines? Thanks, I appreciate your guidance.

There are both day & night trains. Night train has couchette & sleeper cars.

Have a good trip.

Just for the fun of it, Eurolines have daily bus service. Leaves Paris 7:00pm, arrives Venice 12:20pm next day. €73 one-way, €98 round-trip, promotion fares.
