What is your most favorite thing you can only get it Italy?

We are traveling to Tuscany and Capri next month, and I'd love to hear about items you can only find there. Thanks.

Essential oil perfumes from "Profumi di Capri" in Anacapri.

Intarsia boxes from Stenga in Sorrento.

Copious amounts of locally made Limoncello on the Amalfi coast too. Yum.

Ricotta di Bufala

Drunken Caciocavallo with Amarone from Volpetti's

The smell of the Via Tragara on the Isla of Capri.

The chill and smile I get from viewing the David up close in Florence.

The warmth of the light coming through the windows of the dome in San Pietro's Basilica in Vatican City.

The view from the balcony at the Villa Franca in Positano.

oh did you mean just food?

Almost any food - even simple things like tomatoes and peaches are so intensely flavorful, I can get lots of food happy just eating fresh fruit and veg.

A perfectly pulled shot of espresso.
In the morning, taken with milk in the form of a creamy cappucino. In the afternoon - "corretto," with a shot of grappa for good measure, just what you need to round out the day!

In the morning, a still-warm sfogliatelle that is the size of your head. Eating it in an empty piazza with the pigeons.

Great-smelling lemon soap from southern Italy (Amalfi Coast, Sicily).

All the other foodstuff and beauty products I can find now in NYC.

I know I'm going to echo a lot of other responses, but gelato. Obviously something that you can't bring back, but man, is it hard to find an equivalent around here. =)

Otherwise, I like the rare sciacchetra wine from the Cinque Terre region. Have fun!

My most favorite in Italy is the lifestyle!! As far as items, although I guess one cannot call it items, is the food. The food of Italy cannot be duplicated anywhere else. Now about that eyecandy ---- oh yes!! LOL.
