The weather varies from region to region, and even from city to city. However, the coast has the driest climate, and rains heaviest in spring and autumn. June should be a great time, because it will be mostly sunny, but not heat-intensive. The waters have warmed up by then, so you might even be able to swim. Certainly warmer than the Pacific Ocean, and best of all, it will stay light in the evening until close to 10 p.m.

The average temp here (I,m a Norwegian) in Oslo in June is about 18-20C. You should expect warm sunny days with the occational rain. I wouldn't recommend swimming this early in the summer (the warmest months are July-August), the water will probably have a cool 10C! Please remember that Norway is a LOOOOOng Contry with a totally different climate up north. I would however recommend that you take a 2 hour trip up north to the city of Tromsoe, there you'll have 24 hours of sunshine, yepp, no night just day
