crystina - with all that travel i would look at a Eurail Select Pass good in France, Switzerland and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg as one country unit on the Select pass where you select your countries for your Eurail pass to be valid in
A 3-country pass - a Saverpass is cheaper p.p.if you put two or more names on one pass.
Online discount fares often much be booked in advance, far in advance and restrict you to a certain train and are generally non-changeable non0refundable, etc. Passes can be used on any train anytime(except in France you must make reservations on most long-distance trains but none in Benelux or Switzerland or Germany - in case you go thru it - then a 4-country Eurail Select Pass would be the key
but again depends on how much you really travel - but at full fare a few long trips can make the pass a good deal, esp if flexibility is required.
