What has become of Maribel and her guides to Spain

I just participated in a thread which extolled the value of Maribel's guides. I too, have kept my copies which I printed off the internet but have lost track of what has become of Maribel and her wonderful guides. Are they now published so I can buy them somewhere? Does she ever post here anymore? Like so many of you, I was a big fan. I hope she is doing well--and that her guides are too.

Isn't frequent Fodor's poster Robert2016 Maribel's spouse? Or, if not, a work colleague?

Hi Joanna,
I'm still here (lurking) but haven't posted on Fodor's in a long, long, long while. Life got in the way, in a big way! I have posted a bit on Chowhound lately and will try to be back here regularly.

Thanks for asking about me!

And thanks to you, too, Julie. Your comments are very, very kind. I've always been a big fan of yours, and I've used your excellent food and travel notes, along with Stu's itinerary, to plan my upcoming trip to Brittany, about which I'm very excited!

Maribel, so nice to hear from you in person, via post. I've been combing the guides on your website for updates on my long held copes of guides to Northern Spain. We leave at the end of May and are so excited to return. And so happy to hear that you will be traveling to Brittany, another of our favorite seacoast areas of Europe. Please post any questions that you have about the area. There are many here who would welcome the opportunity to "give back" * (me included) to one of the Forum's most outstanding posters.

Maribel, you and guides have been so helpful for our travels in Spain. You even told where a laundry mat was located in Hondarribia! Many thanks.

To all,
Your comments have been so kind, thank you so much for the warm welcome back! I've really missed the camaraderie of this Europe forum!
Julie, I chose our anniversary lunch restaurant in Trinité-sur-Mer based upon your recommendation. Wherever you dine, I follow!
Hi cruiseluv, I do have a complete dining guide to Asturias but haven't finished the sightseeing portion. I finally completed the dining guide after Bourdain's Parts Unknown: Asturias was aired with José Andrés as his tour guide. *
Thanks again to all for your very nice remarks, which are much appreciated! *
