We are doing a house swap this weekend in Harich, in Friesland (the Netherlands). As parents of two little ones (6 mos and 2 yr), our sites might be different than when we've been here in the past. We've got bikes at our disposal, plus our own car - and are ready to roll. Any tips or ideas of places to go and see or things to do? We love towns and the countryside. I stayed in Friesland for 3 weeks about 15 yrs ago...I loved it. The people were great and very scenic in terms of lovely farms, canals, etc. I will dig through my stuff and give you an update of some places I enjoyed.
