Hey Kimerley,

I've just noticed your other Q re buses to Salerno...

From Positano it would be quicker via Sorrento than Salerno if you're heading for Rome, I think.

From Positano you have a bus at:-
-07.55, or alternatively at
-08.50
(Journey time to Sorrento is 40 minutes)

From Sorrento you have a train (Circumvesuviana) to Naples at:-

-08.52 (arrives Naples at 09.57), OR
-09.37 (arrives Naples at 10.44), OR
-10.07 (arrives Naples at 11.14)

You can check your train times from Naples to Rome on:-
www.fs-on-line.com

Hope this helps...

Steve James

LABOA has boats for rent. provides dives, snorkeling, day trips (private. Als see TAXIDELMARE.IT...an expensive, but private-at-your-disposable private water taxi boat service which will pick you up and drop you off wherever you want for as long as you want. Otherwise, the public ferries (traghetti) or hydrofoils (aliscafi), are at the pier...not necessary to pre-buy tickets. Ferry schedules (public) can be seen at "CAREMARE"...not sure of web address, just search caremare.
