Loved the photos and the format and it's great that you included so many links for more info. Great site!
Just one small comment - the font is hard to read. Could you use a font with serifs or something that's less like block letters? I think that would help. There's so much good info here that could help folks.
Thanks for all the hard work on this!

awesome page sssteve! I will definitely check everything out. I want to join adrienne and say "Thanks for your hard work". No doubt this will help a lot of people as too little has been written about the area. Great job!

Adrienna and Cherry,
That's my favorite font - arial. I find it clear and very readable. On the other hand, sometimes a particular font doesn't show up on a particular browser the way it looks on mine.
Check out some of my other pages. Not all of them use arial. Maybe you'll find a font you prefer.

SSteve: Can you comment a bit about the Masseria San Martino, please. How far is the drive to nearby restaurants?
I really enjoyed the report and will be back with many more questions, I am afraid..

Crunchy...
Masseria San Martino is a 10-15 minute drive to Ostuni, and a 10 minute drive to Fasano. Both have restaurants. It's also a 5 minute drive to a huge supermarket complex open 7 days a week. The nearest town is Pezze di Greco which isn't much of a town.
From the 2nd floor balcony of the Masseria you can see the sea. I don't think the distance is more than 3 KM and at the seaside there's another little town with several restaurants. We didn't get there so I don't remember the name of the town. I think the second floor rooms are the larger suites.
Adrienne - thank you. I'm glad I sent the home page link, because from your remark, I now realize that viewers don't notice that at the bottom of every trip report, I have put a link to my home page and an email link. What do you think? Should I make the link more prominent?

Hi Steve,
I did notice the box on the bottom about your other reports but I guess it didn't sink in. I think you should put a short (short) note on the top stating that there are other trip reports and a link to your home page. Keep what you have on the bottom so folks see it when they finish reading the report.
You have some good stuff here to share so putting your home page in 2 places would be good. I might be stealing some of your ideas since I'm not happy with my site.

Thanks Adrienne. Perrhaps I'll do that - on the page I'm working on right now - Scotland.
Crunchy - I believe they have a pool, but I would double-check because we were there in April, and I think it was still empty (if it really exists) which would be why we didn't notice it.
Yes, I would stay there again, but there are quite a few Masseria in the area, and if I went again, I might be curious to check one of the others. It was fine, the rooms were large and newly appointed, and Connie the host was very nice, but it didn't make my list as one of the 10 best places I have ever stayed. By the way, one really good thing is that Connie is always there and her command of English is perfect. She also sells her own products like honey and olive oil and other things. The oil was great and we took a kilo home.
