Weather in N. Europe...late March...early April
Is there a place I can find weather report (other than weather.com) for up-to-date weather for my Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague trip.
I am wondering how cold it will be and if it is necessary for an umbrella. Mind you, I suffer through the winters fo Beantown, so 50 degrees is a warm front for me.
I am just trying to figure out what to wear over there...if I need the spare pair of shorts...etc. I am trying to pack light because of the backpack I will be carrying for 26 days. My youthful age of 31 definately does not match my "older" back and knees...so packing light is a preference of mine.
Thanks again.

i've learned some weather web sites from this board.
wunderground.com can tell you what the average weather has been like in the past.
accuweather.com can give you a forecast for 15 days out.
from what i've read just in guidebooks i'd be pretty surprised if it is so hot you'd need shorts in March or April or that for 26 days in early spring you would never need an umbrella. Wouldn't that be unusual in Boston too?

I don't know reliable these would be in Boston for late March/early April, but I wouldn't give a nickel for one.
Historical information will be far more useful - - see www.weatherbase.com or www.worldclimate.com
You should expect a few days below 2 degrees C out of 26 (March 17-Apr 13), and probably several days as high as 17-20 C. I would be surprised by more than two days as high as 22.
Umbrella? You'll be in five countries; odds are you'll need the umbrella in at least three of them.
Best wishes,
Rex
