Weather in France in Late March/Early April

Hi,

I will be in France from March 23 - April 4, 2004 and am wondering what the weather is like at that time in Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, and Perpignan? While I am there I would like to spend a few days in a city along the Mediterranean, and am wondering if the weather is favorable at that time of the year.

Thanks

Provence will still be on the chilly side and could be downright cold. Once friends of ours were there in April and had snow! However, unless you had thought of time on the beach, the coastal region will still be very nice. For the warmest city, consider Menton, which has a microclimate that allows the growing of lemons.

Menton is very close to the italian border...Monaco, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and then Menton.

You can also pul up Yahoo.com, for instance, and get the weather in the areas that you are interested in for whatever time period....

Please bear in mind that France is about the same size as Texas and exposed to a great deal of ocean frontage as well as the Alps. Variable climate, indeed.
