Croatia is a big place, not sure what you mean. We just had 3 days there all sun and 80's 2 days and cloudy and 70
the 3rd day. Island hotels occsaionally advertise that a discount will be applied for cloudy days so no that is not usual.

Thanks for the web sites! It's the same rainy weather in Budapest, where we are starting our trip. Hopefully it'll clear in a week or so. We may have to pack that sweatshirt after all
