I'll be in London around the same time as you, arriving Thursday.
My stepmother said she checked some weather website and said the weather looked to be mild in London for the next several days. Mid 70s

England and Wales are actually experiencing a mini heatwave at the moment!! According to the BBC website the temps tomorrow will be around 30C (86F) But by the end of the week they should be back to a more normal 25C/77F.

Yes, it's hot in London...it's hot here too in Brussels. Tomorrow should be even warmer and then things should cool down a little, with the possibility of some thunderstorms, possibly downpours.
But it's a warm summer so far and long term forecasts are for more of the same.
