if you feel like a horse drawn carriage ride around the manageable river side city, passing by the world expo sites.. and quaint narrow moorish influenced architecture,
- a charming flamenco show in a so personally small courtyard, (casa de la memoria),
-the best pescaditos/and other lightly "tempur-ed" fish tapas..
-an unbelievable cathedral,
-interesting musuems with no lines to get in..
-a drink at the famed 5 star Alfonso XIII hotel,
-a rooftop dinner at another restaurant
-if you don't mind getting lost and disoriented in the maze of the picturesque alleys in the judería..
-and an evening talent show/flamenco/jazz at La Carbonería..
and fewer crowds (not so sure about the pickpockets, though.. probably same proportion)
then...
maybe sevilla is your destination to wind down from the rest of this ambitious adventure???
your decision.
(not to mention your hotel and food will most certainly be less expensive, as will the taxi ride to the airport and back.)
neither are going anywhere.. so i know either are going to give you great memories. both should not be missed.
you'll just have to come back!
i do think that sevilla, as mentioned,is more DIFFERENT than barcelona, and not being the mega metroplis that barcelona is, has a more personal feel to it.

Barcelona. Although I LOVE Sevilla, I agree with the others that it should be your focus on another trip, either to just Madrid and points south or in combination with Portugal or Morocco. Both cities are very walkable and easily experienced that way - Barcelona is definitely larger. But you mention cathedrals and the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is the coolest way to see a cathedral - in the process of being constructed. Just make sure you start planning your trip to Sevilla!
