Thanks for posting! It was fun reading about your trip.

They were HUGE! There's a picture here, but it doesn't give justice to the scale. http://naokoeats.com/2013/11/06/iceland-kornid/ There is a 'normal' sized doughnut on the right of the bottom row.

Here's a pic of one with chocolate frosting. Takes the whole plate!

I've finally gone through about a third of my photos. The first 'chunk' is posted on my blog. I'm doing them in location chunks - One each for Reykjavik, Skogar, Jokulsarlon, Lake Myvatn, Holmavik and Alftanes, each place we stayed.

Reykjavik photos are here: http://greendragonartist.net/2015/09...javik-iceland/

wonderful photos, GreenDragon. I'd swear that the water was still moving in some of those waterfalls!

Thank you, annhig! My camera doesn't have the manual settings required to make the 'milky smooth' waterfalls, but I think I prefer the crisp shots anyhow...

Oh, you'll have a brilliant trip, MileHighHC! Just as a note, May might be early enough that some roads are still closed due to snow...
