volareweb - reliable?

Volareweb.com quoted me 9.99 Euro (before $31 in taxes, but still) from Rome to Venice.. Is that common? Anyone have good experiences w/ the site?

I cannot say enough good things about Volare Air. It was a great airline, comfortable leather seats, good service, on time, no problems whatsoever. I flew from Paris, Orly to FCO on 9/30 and would highly recommend flying with them.

We flew them last month from Berlin to Milan. Good flight, no problems, great rate ($50 each, including taxes!).

My husband and I traveled Volare from ORY to Venice on 10/6 and back to Paris on 10/10. Our experience was great. Left ORY 50 minutes late because the Air Traffic Control sysytem was down throughout northern Italy, but even with the delay it was just fine. On our return, we met another couple who where very upset with the airline. Seems their baggage was overweight and Volare charges E7 per kilo for overweight (this is stated on their website)- they paid about $200 in charges! The weight allowance is 35 kilo per checked bag.

yes very common and the flight was great! my flight from paris to venice was 29.99 before tax and about 69 a person after tax. had i booked it earlier it would've been $10 cheaper.

I flew Volare last month from Prague to Venice and then from Venice to Naples and had no problems on either flight. And it was cheaper than the train!

Just make sure your luggage is less than their weight limit because they were weighing everything.

We flew with Volare from Paris to Venice and return in mid-September. The flights left and arrived right on time, and the plane was very comfortable. The clouds parted over the Swiss Alps giving us a spectacular view, which was an added bonus!

I would check the luggage weight limits. When we flew we could only take 15kg each without having to pay excess. Hand luggage was 5kg each I think. We'd use Volare again anytime, and they are sooo... cheap!
