My initisl impression of rentvillas.com is generally favorable - - rental (hopefully) to be completed Sep 22-29.

I didn't like their absence of a grace period (three days is customary, for example) - - when the initial deposit is placed. but I have received very good follow-up communication from them, especially during this very trying period of the last four days.

Best wishes,

Rex
I have a very good and very personal experience with tuscanhome.com

There is a website (cohenkenny.com) that rates villa rental companies, I found this site after I contracted with tuscanhome.com to arrange for a villa. Cohennkeyy.com's rating was right on target as Tuscanhouse.com was terrific. Zak (the owner of Tuscanhouse.com) even came to the hospital to visit my husband who had suffered a heart attack. He drove down from northern Italy to see if he could help us.
