Views on Venice vs. Venice Rentals
I've searched the boards for any recent information on these two companies, and I haven't found very much. Both seem to have great apartments at comparable prices. Does anyone have direct and recent experience with either one of them? What were they like to deal with? Thanks!

Sorry to be confusing in my post. I'm looking for information on the companies, which are Views on Venice and Venice Rentals. I'm not looking for advice yet on specific apartments. Thanks for your help!

There are 2 Venice Rentals agencies: www.venicerentals.com and www.venice-rentals.com
I could only find feedback for venice-rentals:
http://www.venice-rentals.com/feedback/index.html
I can only say that I once tried to rent an apartment through Venice Rentals but I found another agency renting the same apartment for less.

hi babe,
have you looked on the slow travel website?
they have agencies in the main italian cities which are "slow-travel favourites" and also reviews of apartments [with the agency name listed] which sometimes give views of the agencies as well.
regards, ann

peter - we did the same sort of thing. our owner happened to be british with a sterling bank account so we didn't have to worry about exchange rates or paying abroad with heaps of cash.
