View My Croatia Photos!
Well, I have finally finished creating a photo album. I have over 300 photos so I am only sharing a few. I haven't figured out how to organize the photos in order so they are in random order. Feel free to check them out at http://community.webshots.com/user/tkoedoot
Cheers!

Great photos, eurotraveller!
Thanks for posting them!
We are seriously planning a trip to Croatia for next May-- what were the dates that you were there?
Some of the guidebooks make it sound like a lot of places won't be open yet in May-- did you have any problem with that? What about the ferries- were they only running limited schedules? Also, can you take a car on the ferry to Hvar?
I'm going to have a zillion questions, so I'll post them on a separate thread!
Thanks again for sharing your pictures!

Our trip was 19 days total but we arrived in Zagreb early morning on May 23rd and departed from Dubrovnik on June 3rd for a total of 12 days. It was cold and wet the day we arrived in Zagreb but that was the worst weather we had. We found that many things were open but I think some places open on June 1st.
Yes, you can take a car ferry from Split to Hvar and also from Dubrovnik to Hvar. We had dropped off our car prior to visiting Hvar but rented a car for a day and drove around the island. I highly recommend driving over to Zavala beach and also visiting Zlatan Plavac Winery. They are building a new road on Hvar so you may not have the thrilling experience of driving through the one lane tunnel! We drove for part of the trip and took ferries or a bus for the other part of our trip. We found it very easy to get everywhere!
If you post Croatia into the search engine on this sight you will see many posts from me and also from several other Croatia fans. Reading through these posts will answer many of your questions.

I really enjoyed your pics. Croatia looks very beautiful. It seems like it is getting to be a hot tourist spot these days. I used to work for a lady who owned a restaurant and she was originally from Croatia. I remember one of the first things that she did was show me where the country was on the map. She made wonderful food and her tiramisu was my first ever. Let's just say I have been hooked ever since. Please post more info on your trip.
