We went on line and looked for shuttle services. I do not remember who we used. Perhaps someone else can recommend one. I do remember the first one cancelling pickup only a couple of days beforehand. That was a pain.

I see this is an older post, but thought I'd add a comment for those that may be going to Versailles in the fall. If you have a beautiful day, rent bikes and explore the palace grounds at leisure. We enjoyed our ride and walk much more than the stuffy, crowded palace. Also agree that the town is worth exploring too.
