After reading concerns about using this plan we decided to try it for our two phone while in France. I ended up changing the plan the day prior to leaving at $30.00 (for both of us).

We landed in Copenhagen first and had no issues when turning on our phones. We had a short lay over and then took a flight to Paris. Phones turned on and we had no problems loading data etc. Our problems happened when we were partway through our journey from Paris to Rennes. Our phones stopped loading data. We re-started our phones with no resolution.

Here is what worked. We went into settings, mobile service, network selection and turned off automatic (IPhone 14). My dh was settings, cellular, network selection and turned off automatic (Iphone16). This allows you to choose a different network. We both changed to the Orange provider and it worked. I ended up restarting my phone after all of this.

We tried using our phones on or morning walk through Rennes with no issues. We then drove from Rennes to La Gacilly with no issues loading data.

I know there are different options when it comes to phone use abroad but this seems like a pretty good deal as long as you remember to change your plan back after you get home.
