Venice to Croatia 10 days

There are four of us traveling and want to get a car in Venice, drive around Croatia. We had wanted to ferry from Venice to Pula or ?? to pick up a car, but can't seem to find a ferry service operating from Venice until June. What are the must sees for the 10 days we have? Of course we want to get to Dubrovnik and back up! Could also ferry one way but here again can't find a working ferry for that timeframe. HELP!! Many thanks. Kathy

I found that the best alternative will be to take the bus from Venice to Pula and pick up a car there. There is a direct bus every day at 11AM arriving in 5:30. I will keep the car for 10 days and drop it off at the airport in Split. You can find info on the bus at http://www.pulainfo.hr/en/autobus.asp

In case you do want to take the ferry, Venezia Lines (www.venezialines.com) has routes to other places in Istria starting mid-April.
