Venice/Rome Itinerary
Hello everyone,
Husband and I are going to Italy 6 full days. I know everyone has different tastes and opinions but how would you break up the 6 days between Venice and Rome?
We originally planned on this:
Friday: arrive in Venice around 3:30
Saturday: One full day in Venice
Sunday: Leave for Rome around noon
arrive at around 5 to 6 pm
at Rome hotel.
Monday
to Thursday: Four full days in Rome
Friday: Leave for NYC 1:50 pm
Our first night in Venice is February 17th. Carnival begins the next day.
For those that have been to both cities, would you stay one extra night in Venice ending up with two full days in Venice and three full days in Rome?
thanks, May

You will get many responses on how to divide your days. Since you will be in Venice 2 nights (the best time) you will be surprized at how much you can see and do. And at Carnival the best thing is people watching anyway.
No matter which way you split it you are going to have a blast! Don't worry. Just have fun. 6 full days is enough to only give you a taste of either city anyway.
