Venice Questions

Hi, we will be getting in Venice in the morning(9:30am) for a cruise that departs later(6pm) in the day. We were hoping to do a tour of Venice before our cruise departs, but we aren't sure what to do with our luggage, since we can't board the ship until 1pm...any suggestions would be great.

There is a luggage check store at the P Roma its 3.50e per bag per day. It looks shabby but I have left bags there several times and they have been fine.
Its about a 10min walk up a hill then down to the ship dock from there.

Well, if you take the tour with the cruise line will they take your luggage?

The Secret Itinerary of the Doges Palace was a great tour. It took you behind the scenes in the palace and showed you Casanova's prison cell.

There is also a luggage office at the Santa Lucia train station but that location would probably not be convienent for you.
