Venice or Florence
Responses suggested I cut Venice out (if only one day) and fly straight to Florence.
BUT!!!
Easy jet says they don't fly to Florence until Oct 31 (we are going on 12) Is this right? am I on the right site easyjet.com?
I need other options to get to Florence from London cheap...I thought through Venice was my only way.
Also, how would I get from Pisa Airport to Florence? Is it easy?
Appreciated

www.ryanair.com - - this info is available on www.whichbudget.com by the way
<<Also, how would I get from Pisa Airport to Florence? Is it easy?>>
http://www.ryanair.com/destinfo03/de...psa&opt=12
This webpage can also link you directly to http://www.pisa-airport.com/sat/cda/...e.php?lang=ita
The Ryanair website gives information on how to connect onward by ground transportation from each of the airports it serves.
Best wishes,
Rex

Hi deja,
Train schedules from Pisa Aeroporto to Florence are at www.trenitalia.com/en.
The train station is very close to the terminal.

i find venice far more interesting than florence....it all depends on what you are looking for....venice is more costly than florence, but it too is expensive....both can be done more cheaply if you try hard...eat locally and simply....

Sorry, missed your original post...but IMHO, in Venice, it is the city itself that is the attraction, and 1 day there is not mis-spent, especially if you have an evening and a day there. In Venice, it is not even essential to spent time in the museums and attractions (thought if you have the time it is wonderful).
Personally, I'd fly to Venice, even if just for a day, and then take the train to Florence.
