Venice in October

Going to Venice in October for 5 days. Have already rented an apartment on the Grand Canal. Looking for sightseeing/tour, restaurant & shopping suggestions. Thank you for your help.

Venice is fabulous in October! No rain and not too warm. Still quite crowded with tourists, but I think Venice is always like that.

HI
all of my visits thre have been late Sept-early Oct. You might have cool temps in the early a.m. (sweater or light jacket) but you will probably find that by noon the temps are in the 70s. Take an umbrella.

I have a file on Venice; if ou'd like to see it, email me at

We had beautiful October weather a couple of years ago. No rain, cool mornings and evenings and perfect mid-day temps.
