Venice Hotel and a driver in Florence

Hi all our trip is fast approaching we will be based in Florence. Does anyone know where I can book a driver for a 1/2 day or full day and what the cost would look like? Also we plan to take the train to Venice and spend 1 night. Is the Hotel Rialto recommended? It looks easy enough to find and is within budget. We will be there one night end of February. Thank you as usual for all the help!

You do not want a driver in Florence itself, correct? If so forget it as everything of interest is in a very walkable compact area. For trips into Tuscany yes - probably the latter but not clear?

though I haven't used them, Hills and Roads have had very good reviews here and elsewhere:

I've used Luca at hillsandroads.com. Well recommended.
It was a while ago, and I can't remember the cost; it's probably gone up since I did it.

Ask your hotel to arrange a driver..Will cost between 200 and 250 for a full day.

We want to go to Lucca and Pisa I know they are accessible by train. My family comes from a small town out that way which is why I wanted a driver it would be easier for them to navigate and I told my 97 year old Nana I would take photos of her papa's town. Seemed a driver would work best for us. I sent an email to hills and roads hopefully I get a reply. Thanks all
