Wow.

In just 24 hours you have gone from using a travel agent to book a hotel in tour bus holiday Mestre to booking an apartment in Venice on your own.

I just realized we are only going to be in Venice 3 nights since we have to travel back to Pisa where our flight departs from. So I don't think I will be able to find an apartment for less than 4 nights. May be stuck with a hotel after all. Thanks for the apartment suggestion anyway.
