Venice - Does a 7-day vaporetto pass still exist?

Not the Venice card, but just 7 days for vaporetto travel? I can't find any recent references. Thanks.

Hi KC,

From http://www.actv.it/eng/vapo_tariffe.htm

"Conference Card: it is valid from 1 to 8 days. The Card can be booked at the Venice office of Calle Fuseri for € 10.50 for the first day, for € 15,00 for two days, € 19.50 for three days, 3,00 for each day thereafter. <

Has anyone booked the conference card - and how does ne go about it. I emailed ACTV & got a totally useless response. Does it need to be pre-booked and what qualifies as a 'conference'?

Hi mary,

I dd a further google search.

It seems that to get a Conference Card you have to be the organizer of a conference and buy the cards in bulk.

The ACTV web site advertises a 24-hour ticket for 10.50 euros and a 72-hour ticket for 22 euros. Note that these periods start when the ticket is stamped so if you start using a 24-hour ticket at Monday lunchtime, it's valid till Tuesday lunchtime. These cover all boats and buses within the city, including the Lido, for instance.
