we are travelling to Venice in early July and will be staying at Camping Ca'Savio.We are interested in visiting areas off the beaten track as well as the more famous sites,any tips! If any one has recommendations on reasonable places to eat (especially those places frequented by locals) I would be most grateful.

I could use this information also, I will be staying near Rialto Bridge..

This might help, although how I as a tourist can offer for sure off the beaten track places is beyond me, since I can't claim to have discovered anything more than what others have seen; how would I know anyway?

Hi, Gina. I hope you do realize that Camping Ca' Savio is quite a ways from historical Venice.
