VAT Refund App
Looking for feedback on using one of the VAT refund apps available for iPhone. I see there are a few options and was wondering if folks liked them. How easy and reliable are they?
Also I've found different minimum purchase amounts posted online. Some sites say 100€ others say 175€ for France.
Thanks all.

Personally, I would go the usual route...get your cash back in person before you leave. You need to find a place that will do that. they hand over your cash refund and all you need to do is get a stamp at the airport in the country from which you are departing the "zone."
I did this in Madrid about a month ago, so easy and so nice to have the cash in hand!
100euro sounds too low.

this site, though aimed at the UK tells you the rules:

€100 purchase in a single shop. You get 12% back.

Thanks hetismij2: I did not realize the bar was as low as that.....it's wonderful to have that euro cash in hand to keep for a future trip!

Quick follow up used the PABLO machine at CDG and received refund in less than a week. One note I did not anticipate that there would be a customs agent at the machines and most of my items had already been checked (liquids that were not carry-on approved). He eventually checked my receipt and graciously let me proceed with the admonition to keep the items with me next time. Minimum spend was 100.01€
