VAT/Detaxe Scenario

On recent trip to Paris I made purchases at two retailers qualifying for VAT (100 E or more). First one was paid through Global Blue and we received the credit day after we arrived home. The other was to be paid through an entity named Planet TaxFree. Both forms were simply read at CDG with barcodes on the forms supplied by each retailer. No more stops at CDG or mailing forms in those special mailboxes as done years ago in France, Italy & UK. Great. However, I still have not been paid by Planet TaxFree and now I see in their Tourist Information sheet and given to us by Le Bon Marche (the retailer) in ultra-tiny font at bottom of Tourist Information sheet, under Conditions of Sales by Planet to the Purchaser, they have "assigned rights and remedies to Purchaser...who agrees to address all complaints directly to the Retailer... who has guaranteed Planet against all consequences" et al.

Say what? Have you had experience with this Operateur de Detaxe?? They have no website to contact, but Le Bon Marche has already emailed me a prompt reply asking for more details, so as Retailer, hoping they make good on my claim.

Interestingly, friend has the Global Blue app on her phone which worked easily for her in Spain 1-2 years ago. Hmmm.

Your comments welcome as always.

Ok, the website got back to me as did Le Bon Marche, both of which assured me their VAT takes up to one month. Tomboy, thx for reiterating website, email was a dead-end.
