Vacation in Europe
My wife and I will be taking the Euro Train in Switzerland and Germany in May. WE expect to spend three days in Switzerland and three in Germany. I know Germany quite well, but am short a little on Switzerland. We considering visiting Interlaken, Luzern and Zurich
I would appreciate if anyone had any suggestions on train tours through Switzerland or suggestions in General.
Thanks,
Willem46

Three days isn't much time. Depending on where you will be coming from (Germany?) I would probably go to Lauterbrunnen or one of the higher villages like Wengen or Murren in the Bernese Oberland. From there, using local transportation, you can do daytrips to Jungfrau, Schilthorn, Interlaken, Thun, Spiez, Brienz, etc.

Thank you for your reply. My wife and I have decided to have one night and half a day in Zurich.. We arrive @ Zurich Flüghafen @ 11:00AM. To see Zurich I do not feel we will need more than 3/4 of a day. I have been there 3 times. WE then will take a train to Luzern and spend a day there. Our next Journey will be via the William Tell Express to Lugano and spend the night there. The next morning we start our Journey to Germany.

We then will go on to Nurnberg, Munich and Frankfurt where we depart from.
The transportation will be via train using a 2 country Euro pass. I am very familiar with Germany.
Thanks again for your response. I would any experience you have had with the William Tell Express.
