To all,

Problem solved.

BVLENCI, thank you for the alert on .net endings.

I got back on TI's site and told them to resend my tickets to a friend's email who had a .com address. Voila! She got it and forwarded it to me.

I now have a real ticket, with a PNR, a bar code, and a QR Code.

Hope fully TI will get back to my requests so I can let them know what the problem was.

But now I can sleep better.

Thanks for all your advices.

When you go to enter your name and recovery code, are you able to change your email to have it sent to a .com email address?

If not, there's an email listed here:
[email protected]

from this page: http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/inde...008916f90aRCRD

Try contacting them with your info and see if they reply quicker.

>>>I printed out that web page which shows the train info and a Retrieval Code as well as the seats assigned.<<<

The retrieval code (CRA)should be at the bottom of the payment summary screen. Did you go to manage your ticket, click retrieve your ticket? Try a different e-mail? I'm not clear on exactly what you attempted.

http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/inde...008916f90aRCRD

>>>My headings are Train (it shows the Freccia 9763),Departure (La Spezia @8:20), Arrival (Roma Termini @12:03), Date (29/09/2014) then Details and under the Details are our names, Offer (economy), Service (First Class), Coach # 1, Seats and a CP code.<<<<

Does this actually say CP code (change code to change your actual ticket to another time/date)? Or do you have something more like this:

On the Trenitalia link I gave, click retrieve, not manage. Should then look similar to this (although this is an old link).

Then this (enter new e-mail without.net such as a gmail.com!).

kybourbon,

I had tried multiple time to retrieve the ticket, to have them send it again. I used the same page as your last link showed. Each time nothing arrived. But when I changed the email address from a .net to a .com the email arrived. So it looks like the problem was that they have an issue sending to .net addresses. I'll just have to remember that next time. For now I'm good. Got my ticket.

Thanks for the suggestions.
