Yes, you can use your rail pass because you are on the S-Bahn (either line S-1 or S-8).

Your pass is good on ANY S-Bahn train in any city/town in Germany.

The pass is not good on any U-Bahn trains, however.

Yes you can, since the S-Bahn is run by Deutsche Bahn. But do you really want to use up a full day of the pass just for this?

I agree with Altamiro but I am not assuming that you won't also use it again that same day to go to other parts of town.

You can buy a family ticket for one-way travel for your whole family from the airport to Munich on the S-Bahn, and it is good anywhere in Munich on the U-Bahn for the entire day for 17 Euro.

German passes are in general good on any S-Bahn line but there are some exceptions i believe - in Berlin i've read that the pass is good only on S-Bahn lines that link mainline train stations and not on those that don't. Best to ask if in doubt. In Munich i'm sure it's good from the airport to Hauptbahnhof.
