Untours in Holland?

Has anyone taken an Untour? I am considering one to Holland in early June. I am a female in my late 40s, and will be travelling alone. I have some trouble walking long distances, but I understand they have two apartments on the ground floor and near a bus stop. Any comments (positive or negative!) would be welcome. Thanks!

I have not been to Holland, but have been to Switzerland with Untours. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are! They will give you as much help as you need, and I'm sure can make a lot of suggestions that will fit your particular circumstances. Really a great travel organization.

I also asked a question about Untours recently. Can anyone describe exactly what's included in their rates? I got a brochure from them, but it's a bit vague. I assume you buy your own meals?

Have taken 2 Untour trips, one - Hapsburg tour - lweek Prague, lweek Budapest and l week Vienna. Last year on my own took their Swiss tour in Ticino - Locarno for 2 weeks it was great as was the Hapsburg tour. Untours have different rates - all inclusive ie air fare or like myself l did my own air. They are very helpful so use their l-800 number and ask lots of questions! You have your own apartment so you can cook if you want, thats the best part of Untours, you are on your own if you want to be, and can do your own thing or take some of their excursions its really up to you, they are there if you need help but its basically indepentant.

You are definitely on your own for meals, also baggage handling. When you call the office you can tell them the type, size and location you desire for your apartment and they will send you pictures, floorplans and maps of what they have available for you to choose from. They will arrange all airfare and local transportation, or you can pay less and take care of all that yourself and just rent the apartment. The website is www.untours.com and it has a lot of information about each of the tours they offer. They always give you lots of wonderful information you would never find in a guidebook, and there is always someone available at your destination to help out with questions you have while you are there.
