United Air Specials

Just FYI, I noticed in this mornings San Francisco paper a great full page ad for specials to Europe up to March 31. I will be booking my March trip to London for $358 plus taxes.

Kay, we just got open-jawed tickets to Europe from Las Vegas in May for $750 (incl tax) from Joey in Houston at [email protected] (e-mail address). None of the web sites could come close to that except rockbottomfares.com, which was about $100 higher.

Good fares are out there you just have to keep seaching on a daily basis. Best advice can be found at www.eurotrip.com on their cheap flight forum. Don and
Tricia are very helpful among others. Through help on that forum I found Chicago - Amsterdam for $293 r/t in May 2000 and booked Chicago - Zurich + Rome - Chicago for June 2001 for $595. Be persistant! I have seen fares offered on expedia for instance and came back a few hours later and they are gone. If you find a good fare be prepared to book it immediately. Good Luck - Tom

Kay - Just for fun I just checked a flight from Chicago to London at www.tiss.com. Used a departure date of June 6 with a return June 20. They came up with a fare that showed seats available for $378 plus tax. US Air was the carrier.

Delta has some AMAZING specials right now, from all over the US (east coast, midwest, west coast -- you name it) into Lyon, Athens, or Budapest. I am not normally a big Delta fan, but from DC, $310 roundtrip to Lyon or $390 to Athens (I've been wanting go to Santorini) is pretty tempting:
http://www.delta.com/servlet/ACRedir...bID=2300857378
