Umbria Villa Suggestions???

Going to Italy next June, and are looking for villa recommendations in Umbria that can accommodate 8 people in one private villa, preferably with pool. I've looked at many online sites, but it's always nice to get a recommendation from someone who may have been there.

Thank you.

Hi PSGMARTINO; We rented a villa in Montefalco last year that I thought was reasonable. The villa itself is 17 century. But they have built a private building with AC next to the old villa. The pool is large and the grounds are magnificent. We also thought the location was good. The villa is villazuccari.com If this interests and you have more questions, just repost. ENJOY Iris

Thanks! I'll check it out - Montefalco is exactly the place we are hoping to be near.

Villa Zuccari looks beautiful - do you have any information about the private house? We'd like to have a kitchen? The website mentions cottages - is that what you are referring to? Thank you for your help.

Hi; Yes, there is a kitchen, with a fridge, sink and some kitchen utensils. What you have is four bedrooms and three baths. Three of the bedrooms are large and one is small. So two of the bedrooms have a private bath. On the first floor, you have a large bedroom and a small bedroom with a shared bath in between. However, the small bedroom does have its own exit, so you don't have to go thru the other bedroom. We were concerned about that, but it worked out fine. The kitchen is good size and eight people fit around the table. ENJOY Iris
