Uffizi guides

I have never taken a guided tour in my life, but somehow the size of the Uffizi overwhelms me and I just don't want to leave anything out. Has anyone experienced a good guide for the Uffizi? Any contacts will be really appreciated! Thanks!

Hi E,

Then, don't go near the Louvre.

It is not a large museum, almost all of the good stuff is in one room.

Hahaha, surprisingly have been to the Louvre several times, though mostly to revisit a few favorites! Personally I like nice small museums like the Galleria Borghese in Rome and Musee Rodin in Paris. You don't feel you're on a high trot rushing off to see everything.
I guess I am looking for a guide to the Uffizi just to make sure I dont leave out anything, but you are right I am essentially interested in only a handful of things, could probably track them down myself!

Hi E,

You can see the whole thing in 2:30 hr.

Google "Uffizi" for further info.

ira, almost all the good stuff in one room? How exquisite can you get? I am more humble I found most rooms with something good.

I agree if you stick to the older part, it is not that big, nothing in comparison with the Louvre, but each room merits a visit.
This is how I feel anyway.
